For ages Mr. E has had to work around all these little hexi’s – on the coffee table, in the kitchen, he’s even found them in the sofa cushions.
But I’ve finally finished by first English Paper Piecing project – a placemat for the fruit bowl that lives on our kitchen table
Between the layers I added some fusible interfacing to protect the table since the single layers seemed thin. And so far, I am loving this little guy.
Here’s a shot of the front and back – you can see the indent from the fruit bowl because we really do use the projects I make 😉
I got the original idea for this from All Points Patchwork – great book if you are interested in doing any English Paper Piecing.
Do you EPP? I’d love to see your work
