Giving You My Heart

this is a fun little project that you can either hand sew or whip up on the sewing machine – it takes no time at all.

I folded a small piece of fabric in half, right sides together and then I traced out a heart shape with chalk- I learned the heard way not to have the double rounded tops too close together like I did here

Instead make sure to leave some space

I cut my shape out using pinking shears and then did a straight stitch by head around – don’t forget to leave a space to turn the right side out and stuff.

Once the hear was stuffed, I used the ladder stitch to close up the hole. I even added a cute button and a ribbon so I could hang this one.

So if you decide to make a hear to give away, I’d love to see them. You can post pics here or on Facebook
